photography statement
I take on a lot of projects. I am humbled by the fact that hundreds of my photographs will be on walls and in albums for decades. I know people appreciate my candid approach during sessions. Many of my clients have never done photography sessions before, and I quickly remind them that they do not have to be anything but themselves. I model each session unique to the people I’m shooting.
I have a passion for what I do- Proposals, engagements, and important life moments. We remember what we see, and an image seals a memory for a lifetime. For that reason, this aspect of my work is timeless.
andrew
Born and raised in Ohio, I loved mountains before ever seeing them. I crossed the Mississippi for the first time in 2016, ushering a new passion for discovering and documenting wild places. I actively pursue landscape photography within the United States and beyond, capturing significant moments and features that tell a story. I set my sights on wild places and aim to push my own boundaries and capabilities.
Photography is a small part of my appreciation for the natural world.
I hope my commitment to others is evident in my photography. My faith drives everything- God’s Grace is everywhere, and I look to capture it. I use my talent to benefit others while applying myself to higher aspirations.
